I'm sorry to give a 2star review to this company. They have helped me a few times with local moves in Juneau and I really appreciated that. I just used them for a very big move across country and I wish they had made the experience much easier for me. At pickup - the crew was very kind and did a very good job packing - nothing was broken upon arrival. But too few people were present and it was stressful and disorganized - I believe these problems were due to too few people provided to complete the work, rather than an error by the packers. I cannot say enough about how awesome this company is. We called them after 2 pm when we were in desperate need for help in unloading a truck after arriving in Juneau via the ferry. Lauren, which I believe is the woman who took my call was pleasant, professional and was quick to find us help. It wasn’t an easy job since our house is below street level which meant a steep hill and stairs. But they guys that showed up, Robert and Avi (sp?) were also pleasant, professional and helped us empty a 20 foot uhaul in the pouring rain. We couldn’t have done it without their help. Highly recommend them!

I was moving from Juneau to Arizona by myself after 35 years in Alaska. It seemed pretty daunting to sell my home, thin things down, and pack it all. World Wide Movers made the task so much easier. First off, when Gil came to give me a quote he told me that they could do a preliminary pick up of items I didn't need so that it would be easier to show my house. What a great idea! Gil set up everything when we needed to move a houseload of furniture from Arizona up to Juneau, including crating art work. The company in Arizona that he contacted was great in packing and loading and then when it arrived in Juneau, again superior workers and they got the job done not only quickly but with great care..nothing broken and everything placed where it needed to go...including heavy upstairs furniture. Thank you! I highly recommend your company.

The professionalism- or should I say lack of professionalism from this company is shocking. They do not get back with you timely, and their staff here in town are so rude. Specifically Steve. Really disappointed and this me go with someone else.
