Book My Move provides moving-related information, resources, comparison tools, and quote request services that help consumers connect with third-party moving companies, brokers, carriers, and related service providers ("Moving Providers"). The Services may include text, images, videos, logos, reviews, guides, calculators, and other materials ("Content").
We act as an informational platform and lead matching service. We are not a moving carrier, broker, insurer, or transportation provider unless expressly stated otherwise. We do not perform moving services, transport goods, set final prices, or guarantee the performance of any Moving Provider.
Content on the Services is provided for general informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional advice. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of all Content, including user-generated or third-party Content.
4. Quote Requests and Communications
By submitting a quote request or contact form through the Services, you certify that the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you authorize Book My Move to share your information with Moving Providers and related partners so they may contact you about your request.
You also agree to receive calls, text messages, emails, and other communications from Book My Move and participating providers regarding your request and related services or offers. Communications may be made using automated dialing technology, prerecorded messages, or similar systems, including to the wireless number you provide. Consent is not required to purchase services. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of marketing emails using unsubscribe links and may reply STOP to eligible text messages.
5. Moving Cost Calculator and Estimates
Our moving cost calculator and related pricing tools generate estimates based on the information you provide and reference data we make available. Any estimate, range, or calculation displayed through the Services is for informational purposes only. It is not a binding quote, guaranteed price, or offer of service from Book My Move or any Moving Provider.
Actual moving costs may differ based on inventory, access, timing, services selected, provider pricing, and other factors. You are responsible for verifying all quotes, contracts, licenses, insurance, and terms directly with any Moving Provider before hiring.
6. Moving Agreements and Third-Party Providers
Any agreement for moving, storage, packing, auto transport, or related services is solely between you and the applicable Moving Provider. Book My Move is not a party to those agreements and is not responsible for provider performance, pricing, scheduling, damage, loss, delays, disputes, insurance claims, or fulfillment of services.
We do not prequalify, endorse, recommend, or guarantee any specific Moving Provider. Your choice of provider is made at your own discretion. Leads and quote requests are based on information voluntarily submitted by consumers. We do not guarantee that any lead will result in communication, a quote, or a completed move.
7. Your Responsibilities and Acceptable Use
When using the Services, you agree that you will not:
- Provide false, misleading, fraudulent, or unauthorized information.
- Use the Services for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes.
- Post or share defamatory, harassing, hateful, obscene, infringing, or otherwise objectionable material.
- Share private information about others without permission.
- Violate intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
- Use the Services for spam, unauthorized advertising, or solicitation.
- Scrape, crawl, reverse engineer, interfere with, overload, or disrupt the Services or related systems.
- Introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation.

If you manage a business profile or respond publicly to customer feedback on the Services, you agree to keep business information accurate and relevant, refrain from personal attacks, and not use public response features to harass reviewers or offer improper incentives in exchange for reviews.

The Services and our Content, including text, graphics, logos, design, software, and trademarks, are owned by or licensed to Book My Move and are protected by intellectual property laws. Transmission of a lead or quote request constitutes fulfillment of the relevant Service feature, regardless of whether the lead results in contact, a quote, or a completed move.

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information. By using the Services, you consent to those practices.
14. Third-Party Links and Services
The Services may contain links to third-party websites, tools, or services. Those links are provided for convenience only and do not constitute an endorsement. We are not responsible for third-party content, privacy practices, terms, pricing, availability, or performance. Your interactions with third parties are solely between you and those third parties.

16. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BOOK MY MOVE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, AND UNINTERRUPTED OPERATION.
We do not warrant that the Services will be error-free, secure, or free of harmful components, or that any estimate, review, listing, or provider information is accurate, complete, or current.
17. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BOOK MY MOVE AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AFFILIATES, AND PARTNERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, BUSINESS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES OR ANY MOVING PROVIDER SERVICES.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US, IF ANY, FOR THE SPECIFIC SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
18. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Book My Move and its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Services, your User Content, your submitted information, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
19. Dispute Resolution
If you have a dispute with another user or third party arising from your use of the Services, you release Book My Move from claims, demands, and damages of every kind arising out of or connected with that dispute, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

20. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Any dispute not resolved informally shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
21. Miscellaneous
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and Book My Move regarding the Services. If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
