I actually did not know this about U-Haul but if you return a vehicle to them with a far greater amount of gasoline than when they gave it to you, they WILL NOT credit or reimburse your money. It’s odd because I was always taught to return a vehicle in better condition than when you got it but at U-Haul you get punished for doing so. When I got the 15-foot truck it was on Empty and I filled it with approximately $93 worth of gas. When I returned the vehicle it was about 5/8 full. Horrible service didn't even get give everything purchased their easy qr code this. Wasent working and they refused to help us even though we were there before closing Oh and it stinks to high heaven maybe because they've got dead baby birds where customers walk 😡🤬🤬

I’d give less than a star if I could. They double cost of rental in BS charges. Used a truck for 27 miles. Barely moved the gas gauge. Maybe 2-3 gallons used max. They told me cost of fuel is $4/gal. Nbd, should be about $12. They charged $38 to “replace 10 gallons” and then a $30 “fuel service fee” They charged more to squeeze a pump handle than they advertise the cost of the rental. Never using U-haul again.

Rented a truck from here to clean out some old furniture from the house and take it to the local landfill. I was assisted by Steven during the pickup who was very nice and thorough in explaining the pickup and return policies. I cannot remember the name of the gentleman who helped me during the return but he was also very nice as well. The return process was also quick and I was out of there about 5-10 minutes after arrival. The rental base price and the price per mile were both very reasonable when compared to similar businesses in the area. Will definitely use them again when I need movi…
