  I recently moved from El Cerrito to El Sobrante after living in the same place for 34 years. I was so nervous about moving and I have to say Big Family Movers saved the day for me. The movers were on time, knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and did a terrific job. I wanted to cry, I was so relieved. They were about 50 steps leading up and down to both locations and these guys just did it without complaint. And did I mention they were so polite. I would do a commercial for this company. Really!

  Working with Big Family Movers was a fantastic experience from the first call to the end of the job. Noah was responsive and helpful to get us booked and on the right track with packing. Victor, Erick and Pierre showed up on time, were communicative and professional, and worked hard to move our 3 bedroom apartment (with lots of stairs) into a 3 bedroom house in Oakland. I would highly recommend this moving company and especially the crew we had.

  Loved working with the crew from Big Family, and I’m not just saying that. Three guys showed up and expertly moved everything from our house into the truck. They just do it smoothly and with care but also quickly. That was the first load. For the second truck load, they moved everything in our garage we had prepped into the truck very efficiently. They also took apart our beds and rebuilt them at the new house, which made a huge difference. What it comes down to is they’re on time, fast, careful, collaborative, solve problems, and just great guys. Hire them and be happy with your move.

  Cannot recommend them highly enough! The team of Victor, Erick, Anthony, Pier and Shun were excellent. They were professional, efficient, and so friendly. Rain was forecast for the day of our move and the guys worked hard to pack everything and move it in one day to avoid the rain. We really appreciated their flexibility. And they were very fun to be around during a stressful time. I am very grateful for all they did to ensure a smooth transition.

  Moving is already a difficult process. I made an inquiry from an associate regarding knowledge of a good moving company. Big Family Movers was the company that was referred to me as being “great movers”. Great is an understatement. From my first call with Noah, to the arrival of Mathew and Eric was a wonderful experience. They were timely and professional. A day I planned would be full of stress, turned out to be a nice, fun and relaxing day. Several times it was stated “we will take care of it”. The guys were super friendly and may I add extremely strong!
