  am extremely disappointed with the way my father and his helper were treated at U-Haul. The customer service was absolutely unacceptable. My father has a language barrier, and instead of being patient or even attempting to help him understand the rental process, the girl with the glasses at the counter was incredibly rude and dismissive. She acted annoyed from the beginning and made no effort to communicate clearly or respectfully.   Returned my van almost an hour ahead of schedule. They never updated it as returned. Now, it's a whole day later and the app is still showing van as not returned. This has to be some type of scam! Be careful guys. Update: Around 10 minutes after this review post, it was magically updated in the app and I was charged the correct amount. Ill give them an extra star for the speedy fix after a negative review.

  Warning: Check your receipt before leaving! I explicitly declined the Safemove insurance at the counter, but the representative added it to my bill anyway without my consent. This is a deceptive business practice and unauthorized charge. When I caught it on the receipt later, it was clear this was done sneakily. Unethical business practices like this are unacceptable.   Made a mistake a drove in the exit only at night. Didnt see parking so I parked in a random spot. Instead of helping me out an employee decided to come out and chastise me for a quick mistake I made in an empty parking lot. Returning our vehicle and never coming back to this location. Why would a grown man find is respectable to chastise a woman and baby alone at night in a parking lot?? Focus on your jobs and your reviews might be better.

  Don’t know if he was having a bad day, but the representative with the unibrow had THE WORST attitude! The lady before me left cursing him out and I assumed she was in error. After dealing with him, I see he earned her disrespect. Honestly, if he doesn’t like customer service then find a new job. For a business as big as this to have representatives with such poor attitudes is disappointing. Won’t be returning to this location. If you have to come, avoid the uniman.
