  I requested an online quote through the website 3 times and never got a call back. I had to call the company directly, which is fine, however it shouldn't be advertised on the website if no one will ever contact me. The price for the 8 foot container (especially with the Costco discount) is the best available for Hawaii. (approx 4k) The amount of disorganization through their main customer service and the Hawaii customer service is appalling.   If I could, I would give it zero stars. My container was picked up on October 7 and arrived on November 6. Despite the fact that it arrived in accordance with the contract, their inspection and regulations prevented me from picking up my belongings, so I had to wait until 11/11 as instructed by their email. When my spouse and I expressed our worries about being charged a second month, they assured us that there was a three-day grace period on working business days.   Worst moving experience ever. Inaccurate and ever changing information. Pickup availability date changed 3 times at the very last minute. Filed a claim, but PODS never followed through or followed up on the claim. Multiple damaged items despite professional packing. I would highly avoiding using PODS. Just pay the extra few thousand dollars and have a professional company organize your move.

  The Pasha employees who work at Hilo pick up site are very helpful. Now POD's as the company why don't they have a 3rd party providing service to deliver the PODS is beyond me. Their explanation on why they don't deliver is non-existent. The only reason PODs gets 3-stars is due to the Pasha employees. otherwise, they get no stars. There should be at least a 30% discount for having to unload POD from the pickup location yourself or have to hire a delivery company. All this should be part of the PODs service, especially if your paying between $4500 to $6500 per container.

  1. No Online Quote Available 2. Their phone quote was _wildly_ uninformative and disorganized. The representative couldn't even clearly describe how their process works and kept contradicting themselves with the steps involved. On top of that the quote they gave me seemed wildly high.. There is no way I am going to work with a company that can't even describe how their business works clearly, let alone have them store my things. Big yikes.
