We chose Allied to move all of our stuff to our new home, 1000 miles away. We liked that they came to our house and did an inventory ahead of time so that we had a set price and didn't have any last minute additions. They were flexible with setting our final moving dates, depending on the closing of our house. Jose and his crew did a great job packing our stuff, driving it across the country, and then unloading it. I had an excellent experience with Allied Moving Company. They were punctual and kept everything on schedule, which made the whole process so much easier. The packing was done efficiently, and the team took great care to ensure everything was neat and well-organized. Cleanliness was clearly a priority, as there was no mess left behind. I hired them to move my house contents and my car. Everything made it to the destination safely. The actual movers were great and handled everything professionally. The business people on the origin side, particularly the person who did the inspection and scheduled the services, seemed like they didn't care at all. I asked for pickup for my vehicle on a specific day and was told "no problem, we'll change that." This happened multiple times and they never changed the pickup. I ultimately had to negotiate the pickup date with Montway, whom they farmed that out to. Very irritating.

MUST READ! This company is a fraud. Once you sign that contract forget about what you were told or thought you knew. First, note that the quote they give you is a gross underestimate. When I had the relocation consultant come out to look at all my belongings and give me a quote, he stated the quote could go up or down "up to 10%." A couple days after my quote, he informed me they had to raise the price $500 because it was their busy season. My quote went from about 5,500 to 6k. I just finished an almost cross-country move with Allied and I must say I couldn’t be happier with my overall experience. Firstly, it started with my lovely move coordinator, Julie. She was a light in this dark stressful moving tunnel. She did everything she could to make me feel comfortable with making my decision about going with their company and even offered to help me if I had questions about other companies even if I didn’t go with them.
