  Don’t use this company. I scheduled a move from Illinois to Missouri. Colleen came and did a walk through, Marie had called me multiple times so I assumed they would communicate to the crew. On the day of the move, the driver pulled down the overhead electric line to my neighbors house when backing up the truck. This triggered police, fire department and ComEd to respond. Delayed my move for 2 hours. One of the moving crew was incredibly rude and acted as though the level of the line was my responsibility, he also had no idea what the move entailed.   We cannot recommend Berger Allied highly enough! We recently completed a long-distance move from Chicago to North Carolina, and the entire experience was completely seamless from start to finish. From the initial planning phases, Steve, our sales representative, was fantastic. He provided a highly competitive and accurate estimate relative to other premium moving companies, with zero hidden surprises or stressful sales tactics (we actually got a refund).   I moved from California to Chicago! Worst decision to use them. The loading in California was really good with experienced movers. Got to chicago and delivery was horrible. Inexperienced movers. Missing parts and my kids bed frame missing most of the screws for the bed. Dents and scratches all over my new home. Customer service also lacking. I spoke to Marie multiple times and she seems she is always lost. I had to be on top of her for pick up date, delivery date etc etc. only calls I would get is for payment! I used Allied before but this experience was not the best. I just submitted claims…

  This warehouse is not in a sequential order. I arrived earlier than others, but they left earlier than me. I need to wait for several hours to unload the goods. The service attitude was average. When I asked how long I would have to wait for the unloading to be completed, he said that there were only two of them and they would have to unload the goods

  I have used Berger for 4 jobs in the past 2 yrs. EVERY time I work with them they are Johnny On The Spot. Colleen and Marie are a joy to work with and they have helped make moving and downsizing manageable. Highly recommended! Nothing is missed, lost, broken… just great quality packing, moving and communication.
