  Reserved a truck through Budget weeks in advance, confirmed the reservation the morning of, drove an hour and a half to pick it up… only to be told there were no trucks available. No call, no warning, nothing. Same day, we went to U‑Haul and had a completely different experience. They had the 26‑ft truck and trailer we needed ready to go, no hassle, and at a much better price. Smooth pickup, no surprises, and excellent service. Highly recommend U‑Haul over Budget—especially if you actually want the truck you reserved.

  I was with a friend who was going to rent storage space here. She was griped at by the employee, and came out in tears. I said we'll go right back in amd cancel. So I went with her, and the employees were being very friendly with the men in the store, but when we got up there they were very hateful. She told them she wanted to cancel and the man rudely said "this doesn't make any sense." His tone was so demeaning. Even though I was not the one conducting business with this guy, I could not let it go without giving my feedback. This is one place I would NEVER recommend. If I could give zero sta…

  I have always had good experiences using U-Haul. My only issue/compliant is that every time I have rented a truck, (various locations) the interior glass (windshield, side windows) are always dirty and needing cleaned. Its more of a problem when picking up in the morning when it is still dark, oncoming traffic headlights make it very difficult to see out of dirty glass and its dangerous. When I get to my loading destination I always have to clean the glass. Other than that, no issues, so if that's the worst thing that happens, then they are doing pretty good!

  They overcharge you. I was told a price for the mileage one day and then the next they decide to change it without me knowing. I filled the tank more than how I received it initially and they charged me for “insufficient gas”. And the guy that checked my vehicle didn’t explain the extra charges when I returned the vehicle. He told me everything was good. But then I’m calling about why my bill was so high and I got a cleaning charge and gas charge. I had the truck for less than 6 hours. No damage was done to the truck, I even paid extra for the protection plan and filled the tank all the way up…
