This location picked up my PODS container today. The guy was very pleasant and friendly. He took care to not damage the grass next to the driveway, and operated their "POD-zilla" moving machine like he'd done it a thousand times before. Took all of 15 minutes. The container itself worked great to store things during our remodeling. Very clean, never seemed to have any environmental issues (e.g. - it never seemed to get too hot in there).

If you use this PODS, I hope you get Carolina Hernendez as the one that delivers it. The first POD was dirty and wouldn't stay closed. She decided to take it back (without me even havaing to ask) and get another one. The 2nd one was clean and much better. She also did a fantastic job of placing it in the driveway.

PODS was pretty seamless. Great experience. Happy I selected this as my primary way to get moved. I cannot say enough great things about the delivery and pickup drivers. They were GREAT people. A pleasure to be around and very helpful dropping, picking up, and giving advice on how to pack them out.

0-Stars, do NOT recommend! All calls, through India or Pakistan... it took over a week to schedule pick up. -Internet portal did not work for pick up. -Local contact phone number just re-routed us to out of country call center. -Call center kept looping back to new representatives who all said "I can't schedule it, hold one moment." -took multiple threats of credit card charge reversal to get the pick up scheduled. -last representative said they couldn't schedule and then caved when I said I was hanging up and charges would be reversed. -pick up scheduling took me over 30mins call (all recor…

UPDATE: I do NOT recommend using PODS, specifically in the Des Moines area. There has been minimal communication and poor customer support. For the amount of money you spend using this company, you would think they would be reliable. Not in my experience. Currently, the myPODS account says my POD was picked up on the scheduled day and is at the storage facility. In reality, it is sitting in my driveway and I’m still waiting to be notified when it’s actually getting picked up. This now impacts all the dates I currently have scheduled - the transport date, delivery date, and pick up date.…
