I believe the rep who helped us was Luke. Not only was he courteous, friendly, and very helpful, explaining everything to us in detail as this was our first time renting a storage unit. There was a problem with the security system and he couldn't get our cards or codes to work. It took a while, and he escalate the issue multiple times until he got it resolved, which took about an hour. During this entire situation he remained courteous, keeping my wife and I in the loop, and even when other customers stated showing up, never made us feel that our issue wasn't his top priority. Always helpful and has a great attitude. Never have to wait too long, great customer service. Jason (general manager) runs a well oiled machine. U-Haul in Ankeny is the place you need to do business with.

Terrible experience! Tried to scam me out of $30 for not refueling even though the receipt doesn’t say anything about a $30 fee for not refueling. Then called me the day after I returned the truck asking if I still have it even though it was already returned. Staff needs retraining including the manager who just goes along with whatever the employee said

Received extra charges after I returned the rental because Ankeny Uhaul didn't document correct fuel reading. Good thing I took pictures for proof. He didn't put my phone number in correctly so they could look up my reservation and didn't put my email in so I could receive my receipts. I've used uhaul many times but this experience has been a nightmare.

This location is huge! Very good selection of every thing offered by U-Haul! One of the few that have later business hours and that is a great option! Sales guy was super helpful in accommodating my situation for my business! Great job
