  I had two pieces of large, heavy furniture I needed moved to Maquoketa and the only thing I knew for sure was I was not lifting it. Calling Roger at Powell Express Moving was the best decision because it took stress off me and any friends or family willing to help. Roger and his employee were able to move the furniture the next day and for a reasonable fee. They wrapped the furniture with plastic so the drawers would not fall out and used elastic bands and covers as needed. Roger and his employee were very professional and I will call them again if I need help moving

  Great price and excellent service. I don’t generally leave reviews but these guys did such a great job that I needed to leave public feedback. Professional, friendly, efficient and super easy to work with. They unloaded 3 U-Haul pods, 2 HEAVY tool chests, and a safe with zero issues. I strongly recommend these guys. Special thanks to Anthony and Donovan who were great.

  I moved last weekend and got a recommendation from a friend to call Roger Powell. I can't recommend Powell Express highly enough. Roger was amazingly organized, informative and helpful through every step of my move. He supplied materials and expertise that made my move seamless , and he supplied the tools I needed to make my move much smoother than I could have imagined. Moving is hard work, and I want to thank Roger, Jesse and Devin for all of their hard work and for making my move the best it could have been. Call Roger if you're moving. You won't regret it!

  We are so happy that we decided to use Powell for our move. Roger and his guys made this process as easy as a move could be. His team were professional and courteous but, above all, really efficient. We enjoyed the guys and I can't say enough great things about them all. The price was more than fair, especially given how hard they all worked. We highly recommend them and would use them again in a heartbeat.

  We contacted Roger at Powell based on the suggestion of a friend to help us move our household from Dubuque to the greater Madison area. To make a long story short, we very happy with the service from Roger and his team. We have a rather large household, so this was a multi-day, multi-truck and trailer effort. Roger and his guys all had great attitudes and show pride in their work, even though it was hard work in stupidly cold weather (they're also very strong).
