The employees here are great and I had a great experience. 10/10 would visit again. The online process is still just as bugged as the last time I used it several years ago. Only it was at least a manageable annoying bug, instead of a game breaking bug like it used to be all the time. Plainly, I use the website because I refuse to use an app for a one time rental here and there, and last I knew it was also very bugged anyways so I just never went back to it. My overall U-Haul experience was absolutely awful attempting to rent from Iowa City via an online reservation. On a Friday, I reserved a 10' truck online to be picked up in Iowa City at 9am on Sunday for a 1 way trip to Waukee, IA. On Saturday, I get a call from Donelle (spelling?) saying there aren't any trucks available in Iowa City (which was an absolute lie after driving by on Sunday). My options were to Dubuque to pick up a truck and pay all the miles from Dubuque to Waukee which also takes me out of the way by several hundred miles and adds hours to my day. Maybe a sign pointing out that the drive-in bay doors are manually open from inside the building by pressing the OPEN button on the small power strip tucked in between the door jams and rails for opening. Location is fine, I just couldn't think to look there given how automated everything else is. I'm just suggesting a nice sign there like all the other professional ones in and around the facility.

Upgraded to bigger truck for free when did not have the size we originally wanted. Prompt and friendly service. Quick and easy pickup. Will definitely rent from here again.

I don't recommend rent from this lication. Couple of days before my pickup, they called to say they don't have my truck and directed me to 1 hour away pick up. Due to a billing problem, I tried to call but they kept putting me on hold and hanging up. Then, when I stopped by the location, I found they had many trucks similar to the one I rented. What a miserable experience! The billing issue was never resolved.
