  Allied Van Lines did a wonderful job on my move cross country. Bob Benson, who came to my home and gave me an estimate was full of excellent advice and peace. My driver, Lee Ann communicated well and led the moving team well on both ends. My possessions were handled well, and bundling my auto transport was a great deal. I highly recommend Allied Van Lines!

  Unfortunately, the overall handling and packing of my belongings felt careless from beginning to end. One of the worst examples was opening a wardrobe box clearly labeled for hanging clothing and finding expensive clothes thrown on top of each other with loose hangers and even a toilet brush packed directly in between them. Multiple garments were heavily wrinkled, dirty, and left with visible hanger impressions because they were not packed properly.   THEFT!!! We used Allied for our interstate move from Midwest to the West coast. During the move, one of the movers hired by the company stole my wife's purse and "left early for the day". Luckily for us, our neighbor's camera caught him leaving with the purse and he was eventually arrested. We were told by the detectives that this wasn't the first time this individual had committed this type of crime and has an extensive criminal record.   I don’t think I can even give one star to Allied. The whole experience was awful. The movers were very unprofessional and damaged many of our things including walls and doors in both houses. I paid for the insurance, but have heard nothing from the company. They were paid in full so I guess they are finished with us.

  I chose Allied because of a previous experience with Allied direct although the quote was higher than others. My experience with Coleman was extremely dissatisfying. They exceeded the delivery time by three days after the truck driver told me the day of loading that he would deliver on the last day of the time frame because he wanted to go home for the holidays. From the pickup to delivery, the truck driver was rude and disrespectful and he did not have people lined up to unload when he finally arrived. As a result the team to unload did not show up until 4:30 pm and the truck was unloaded in…
