I had a great experience with U-Haul from start to finish. The reservation process was simple and straightforward, and everything was ready exactly as promised when I arrived. The online check in through the app was very efficient and I liked that we did not have to stand in line. I booked 2 weeks ahead and we when arrived we were told the appliance dolly we reserved was not available. We were not contacted at all and this put us severely behind in our move trying to rush around last minute to find one. We were informed that they were behind in manufacturing enough for the company. It's frustrating that I booked ahead and had everything planned and still couldn't get something as basic as an appliance dolly

This place is extremely suspect. I rented out a storage unit and was not informed I needed a special lock. When I returned to my storage unit, the lock had been taken off and a new one was added without my knowledge, I had to ask U-Haul to come unlock it. After unlocking it I realized half my storage was missing. After filing a police report, an employee at the Campbell lane location insisted that it was because I gave away my gate code. Truck was fine. They removed my "safemove" when asking if i wanted the insurance, then re-added it when I confirmed I wanted it. Something must have went wrong on there end; I also changed the primary phone number which did not update. Something must not have synced on their end. I have been going through customer complaints, talked to the store manager, and all they do is claim that they cant do anything. We hit a deer, and then found out the "safemove" was never added.
