If you value your belongings, do not use this company. The workers were very friendly and helpful; however, they were 4 hours late due to a “flat tire”. There was damage to beds, nightstands, bookshelves etc. After several text messages (4), two phone calls and a message left, within the span of a week, I have yet to hear from the owners. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Terrible, terrible management. Not a way to treat your customers. Beware! This is a schemer campaign against two of the hardest working, most honest guys I know who built A&L from nothing. If you’re really looking for a great moving company, then look no further. A&L Movers has moved my family and I on four different occasions. They are the most professional, respectful and punctual moving company I’ve ever worked with. Their pricing was straight forward and honest and at the end of the move, the pricing was exactly what was agreed upon in the beginning. So far we have used A&L Movers twice. Each time, they have exceeded our expectations. I wish I could give a higher rating! The owners are extremely easy to deal with and the employees are really friendly and work well together. They are careful with everything they touch and they are also quick. I would highly recommend them for all of your moving needs.

I live south of Lake Charles, LA about 20 miles from the Gulf. After a hard hit from Hurricane Laura in August of 2020, local movers needed to get salvageable furniture from severely damaged homes were soon booked up. My daughter-in-law called A & L Movers. What a blessing they were to me, needing help and having recently lost my husband. They came with all the necessary moving equipment and went into action! They were so professional, courteous & skilled at what they do—carrying heavy items from my two-story home and loading them onto their company truck with its own lift. They worked…

The initial contact was with one of the owners and was a great start to a customer/business relationship. Moving day started with the movers showing up on time and ready to work. The load up was quick and they obviously were taking good care of our belongings. Delivery was just as well done. While it's nice these days to receive good service, these were the of the nicest guys as well. Pleasant experience and I can't recommend these guys for your moving needs enough.
