Hilker’s moving is the Best! Sean Hilker, the owner, arrived right after I first called them and wrote an estimate on the spot. On the date specified, they wrapped and carefully moved our 12 full file cabinets, desks, bins, bookcases, etc. to their new location. Hilker’s managed narrow stairs and curbs with ease. Hilker’s even donated and moved a lovely piano for us! At the end of the move, Sean played the piano beautifully for no added cost. 😊

Sean Hilker and his amazing team just moved me from Spring Mills, WV to the Richmond, VA area on Thursday. I HIGHLY recommend them for anyone’s moving needs, primarily for their professionalism, extremely efficient teamwork, courtesy and respectfulness of me and my personal possessions. Sean checked in a few times prior to the move, to ensure I had everything I needed in preparation. I can’t express how thankful I am for hilkers moving company. Sean and his guys were great, very professional, they cover and pad everything, nothing was broken in moving, all was friendly and hustled. Not to mention they even got my trampoline moved for me. Hilker’s did a fantastic job moving us from Edgewater, MD to Martinsburg, WV all in one day (a two hour drive). They took great care to protect both houses and all of the furniture to prevent any damage. The entire crew was super nice and attentive making sure everything was placed just where we wanted it. They went above and beyond what we expected making the move day stress free and enjoyable. Absolutely highly recommend.

We contracted with Hilker's to move a piano to our home -- AT NIGHT!! Sean never blinked at this requirement. He and 3 of his staff padded the piano and lifted it on the transport truck. Our piano never touched the ground during the move. Sean is professional to the core. Sean also gives you a straight-up fee for his services unlike other firms that charge by the hour.
