  6/23/2026 Went for the first time to this site. The storage unit that was assigned to me still had someone's stuff in it. Old tires, stuff random stuff, shelving, etc. I went to the front office, and it was closed. Even though their hours say that it is still open. Closed, lights off, mail piled up on the front door. So I had to call the 1800 number. I tried transferring and the one they transferred me to would not open. Tried again. Different unit. This unit is good, then my code will not let me out. I am held hostage there until I call again and have to sign a new lease and the correct email…

  Chris is as amazing at the Farmington Road location in Livonia! We ended up moving units and had a much better experience with his management style than the location on Grand River. He was friendly, professional, and helped us quickly get 2 new units at a great online price. Note: you must get insurance and the published rate does NOT include the insurance. It does look like you can cancel the insurance after you book by calling customer service to save yourself $12/month.

  Chris, the property manager, is a very hard worker and every time I show up to plow the snow the site is always clean, leaving a very presentable property for anyone renting at this store. Would highly recommend storing here if you are in the Livonia/ Westland area!

  I Storage was a great place to store an entire apartments worth of furniture for a few months while I was saving to buy my first house. Indoor / climate controlled storage was nice to have as well.

  I stored my truck here for 3 months and everything was smooth from start to finish. The facility was secure, clean, and easy to access. Staff was professional and always helpful. My truck was in the exact same condition when I picked it up. Definitely recommend this place if you need reliable storage!
