  They didn't give us a key for the trailer door lock. This caused us to be stuck in a sketchy alley until their roadside assistance could show up (up to two hours). When calling the location to discuss, they attempted to blame it on both us and a previous renter, stating the van shouldn't have had a trailer door lock. After letting them know it's theirs as it was connected to the door by chain, they finally took some accountability. Absolutely no attempt to rectify their mistake. They even went as far as to suggest we pay for our own roadside assistance. I have used this location for every move…

  Understanding and patience with me. It took me a while to return the truck, get the storage unit and the directions for it, etc. People were still friendly, despite that--and I really appreciated that. It was stressful moving by myself, but I had no issues and received help during this experience. Especially the person who helped with finding my storage, how to find it, etc.

  What a joke of an operation. My husband showed up to drop off our UHaul trailer rental and was told “just go drop it off over there.” No one came out to help. No one inspected the trailer. Zero care about my husband’s concerns that the app didn’t work when he went to take photos showing issues with the trailer. Customer service absolutely non-existent with attitudes and a complete “why are you here bothering us” mentality.

  The staff at the Lyndale U-Haul is always super helpful, the vehicles are always clean and well maintained. They are very polite, professional and efficient. I rent several trucks a month for my home staging business and U-Haul Bloomington is my best business partner.   My truck broke down on me during the rental, I followed U-Haul protocol for roadside assistance. Waited an hour and a half in 4 degrees for a tow. U-Haul continued to charge me - $150 more than the contract price which I shouldn’t have even had to pay with it breaking down on me. I’ve contacted customer service 4 times over the course of almost a month trying to resolve it. I was given a $50 refund, only a fraction of what I was overcharged.
