We recently used U-Pack to move a relative from MN to SC. Due to many unknowns about when the relative would be ready, we had to change our moving dates multiple times as well as the drop off location. U-Pack was always helpful and flexible and best of all when you called their number you spoke directly to a knowledgeable and helpful person. During the move U-Pack was very communicative with updates and the trailer was delivered on time. I was very pleased with both the cost of the move and the performance of U-Pack. We recently moved from the west coast to the Midwest. Probably one of the most difficult parts of the move was deciding how to get our stuff to the new house. We were very pleased with our decision to use U-pack. We were expecting many of our items to be damaged or broken and everything arrived unharmed. My only frustration is that the closest they would drop the trailer was over an hour away. We had to then rent a uhaul, unload our stuff from the trailer and reload into the uhaul, and then finally unload again at the new house. I was researching options for a move out-of-state. I received 2 emailed estimates from this company on the same day; oneaarived early AM, and the other in the late afternoon. The 2nd one was over $1000 MORE than the first, based on the same information. The 1st estimate showed no move date; the 2nd one referenced a move date 5 months BEFORE the date I gave. If an estimate is this hit & miss, I can't imagine what would happen in the actual move...but I CAN imagine it would be a nightmare! NOPE.

As easy and seamless as they make it sound. The positive reviews I read were spot on. It is so simple. They showed up as promised. Our stuff was delivered even earlier than promised. Pay for the space you use and someone else drives it to where you want it to go. How great is that! Make sure and use straps (not ropes) to secure your load. The truck is quite tall, 8 feet. So pack accordingly. If you are willing to do the work I would highly recommend them.
