Haven’t gone through claims process yet (there was some minor breakage) but my experience with North American and their local agent Ace was far beyond my expectations. Communications were prompt and professional. I knew at every step when the truck would be at the house to pack and when it would arrive at the condo across country to unpack. The crews on both ends were skilled, efficient and polite. They do not scrimp on packing materials. My antique china cabinet was correctly and safely dismantled, moved, and reassembled. Only one wine glass was broken out of several dozens of stemware. I end…

We have moved multiple times, and this was a pretty bad experience for us. Packers arrived a day later than we were told they would, and we received no notice from the company that they wouldn’t be there on the previously stated day. They broke 3 different pieces of furniture, mislabeled boxes, and we are still missing items that we saw get loaded on to the truck. The team also only comprised of 3 people for a nearly 3,000 sq foot house. They were nice, but for $12k I expected a lot more. If you have a full house, out of state move, I would look elsewhere.

We signed up for the $100,000 coverage with $0 deductible option when we entered into contract with North American Van Lines. There were a few items missing from our delivery, including a ~$600 ladder. We filed our claim, after which they reportedly did an internal review and refused to reimburse. I do not recommend doing business with this company unless you are ok with them losing your belongings.

Everything done on schedule, nothing missing, nothing damaged and service performed professionally. The guys were friendly, careful and friendly. I've done six long distance moves prior to this one. This was, by far, the best!

Overall the service was very good. Peter (the job estimator) was very clear and responsive. Coordinating load and delivery dates was a bit messy as the original driver scheduled had truck problems that ultimately resulted in changes to both driver and dates. In the end, however, I was quite pleased with our new driver, load and unload crews, and had no lost or broken items.
