  Merchants was hired to load a trailer for a cross country move. Labor was needed to load the trailer of already-packed boxes and furniture, disassemble bedding, and to box up a few other items such as the computer electronics. When the trailer reached it's destination in VA there were NUMEROUS pieces of furniture with HUGE gashes, scratches, etc. My mother was devastated. Her husband had passed in May at which time she decided to move back home to VA.   My husband had a delivery in Hamilton, coming from Southern California and we needed some delivery assistance and the Merchants office team was very accommodating with the schedule, gave us tips on how to get into the town and the Merchants' moving crew was polite and helpful working to meet our delivery time. Great experience!

  Great for moving stuff locally, but not so great moving stuff long distance. The delivery of my sister's furniture was several days late and they kept coming up with excuses. They told my sister the last time around that the driver's truck broke down on a Friday and wouldn't be fixed until Monday. My sister asked the truck drive where his truck broke down and he said "What??" She told him what Pam at Merchant's had told her and he said "well, they lied to you, because my truck never broke down". It makes me wonder it the other excuses they gave us were also lies.

  I needed my son's boxes moved and stored the same day. Tabitha came through with flying colors. They were there within an hour and put everything in storage for him. Best service in a long time.

  These 2 awesome girls moved my stuff in lightning fast and didn't break ,scratch or dent not a single thing. I would recommend them above all others.
