  See my Yelp review for the full long tale and photos. I reached out to Island Movers ten days after the move, to give them a fair chance to respond before I left reviews. Four days later was told they had not spoken with their crew yet. Inquired again two weeks after the move, but they never replied, so here we go. Very short version is they left two family heirloom chairs they unilaterally decided were junk outside by the trash, that didn't get found until the next day (thank goodness trash wasn't picked up that morning!), they packed several items poorly that led to damage (including an ir…

  I sold my baby grand piano to a family friend and they chose to go with Island Moving. 4 guys and the owner came to my house promptly at the agreed time and wrapped the piano up to safely move. They moved it out without any damage. When done I asked if they could give me a price to move my tv from downstairs to upstairs and they went to take a look. They said sure and moved it upstairs for me. This is a 98in 7.5ft wide 4ft tall tv. They got it upstairs without any issues. They said they would just include that in the price of them moving the piano. I ended up tipping each of the crew members.…

  Island moving out of Grand Island Nebraska is a wonderful company to work with if you're moving locally or even across states. This is the second time that I have used them going from town to town in Nebraska. However this move was totally different as I was moving across the state. Joey and the guys were so professional and easy to get along with. They showed up on time, took care of my belongings as it was theirs, and we're very careful moving items in and out of each property.   Moving is stressful!! Island moving was wonderful! Just had Jade and his crew move our 4 bedroom house! They arrived at 8am on the dot! Did a walk through quick and began working. The guys were respectful of our stuff, our home, and our dog ;) Everything was removed quickly and without damaging the house! I would HIGHLY recommend using them and will be using them for any other moving needs! Thank you for saving our backs- our energy and probably our marriage! Haha

  The guys did an awesome job. They went above and beyond helping me move. I highly recommend, friendly, hardworking, they were GREAT.
