  Recently our family contracted a move from Virginia to New Hampshire. The process began with a video appointment with a rep from Mayflower to determine what items we wanted transported. The turnaround time for our cost, which was very reasonable, and the scheduling of a pick up and delivery date was done quickly and seamlessly. Oh the scheduled date we watched as the movers carefully covered the floors with runners and took to carefully unloading our boxes and furniture.   The driver and the movers were respectful of our belongings while moving quickly and efficiently. They were not afraid to ask clarifying questions, and had excellent suggestions. I would welcome them back into my home without hesitation .

They kept me informed, were punctual, worked quickly, kept the areas they walked through clean l, and were professional.   We used McLaughlin for an interstate move last month, and while the loading and delivery crews were professional, the packing team and customer service were unacceptable. The two packers, Mike and Mike, were careless and unprofessional. They left several drawers and closets unpacked, stacked boxes directly on expensive furniture (including white chairs), and made the entire house smell like cigarettes from chain smoking throughout the day. They didn’t bring basic tools and kept asking us to borrow ours. Fragile items were wrapped in our clothing, some weren’t wrapped at all, and outdoor gear…
