  tldr: One star is too high for these people. Check the FMCSA site to see how bad they are. DOT #2949912. I am not joking, these people deserve to be jailed up. A broker hired them for me. Jay from Fair Rate lied the whole time saying that my stuff were on the way, while the stuff just sat in a storage location 10 miles from my pick up address (CA to LA move). Literally just picked up my stuff, charged $4.5k, and for 2 months kept lying and saying the truck is on the way while also started ignoring my calls/texts a few weeks in.   They took off with over $10,000 in our belongings after a very heated experience when they tried charging us an additional $5500 and then tried moving their truck further to collect a Long haul fee. No one knows where our stuff is after I sent multiple pictures with our belongings clearly still on yhe truck. Their bbb ranking us revoked. Wonder why that is.

  I’m waiting for my furniture now. Jay is one of the shadiest people I ever knew. He is a scammer. They delivered part of my order. I told them items were missing and they said it’s in the warehouse, they sent me pictures of it. Jay said it would be on the truck for Monday or Tuesday delivery. It’s been 2 weeks, no delivery. He will not respond to texts or return calls. I had all new furniture in boxes from the furniture store, $10K worth of furniture. Will be be contacting BBB, local news station.

  AVOID THESE PEOPLE… DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!! This company has stolen money from us in Ocala, Florida. We deal with a local company here with same name but INC instead of LLC… they were paid $1,089.00 that they were supposed to decline because they provided NO SERVICES TO US NOR DID THEY HAVE A CONTRACT WITH US! We have sent them a refund request for wrongful payment through Cash App, which they have ignored !!!! It’s been 9 days to no avail! They have promised the local company, that we did do business with, that they were going to return the funds, but they have not done so…

  For anyone who wants transparency and a fair price for moving long distance interstate: please do NOT book with this company or be subcontracted through them. The sheer extent of mental exhaustion this company has put me through for lack of communication is outright unprofessional. This company was subcontracted through a broker company for my interstate move. Come day of pick-up is when I was learnt of these subcontractors. The pick-up was delayed by a day and several hours and eventually made in the later hours at night when no office would be open. They picked up my things and after the l…
