  If you are looking for a reason to throw away your cherished belongings, this is your moving company! They managed to turn more of the things I inherited from my parents into junk in just one move within a single state than I could do in multiple interstate moves by myself. They packed a priceless mirror from the 20’s between 2 canvas paintings with no padding whatsoever. They packed pillows at the top of the box so that when I cut the box open, I also cut the top pillow. The complete incompetence and lack of care for my belongings was unbelievable.

  Rubel and his team were remarkable with communicating arrival times. They were friendly at walking us through the process, addressed all our needs and went above and beyond with an issue we had with our assembler where they assembled our bed. I could not have asked for a better experience and thankful for the entire crew!!

  Worst movers I have ever encountered! Beyond slow and tried charge for times they weren't even on the premise So much damage to our items and lack of care. you can see in the pictures of how it was loaded This company is very dishonest and full of hidden ways of charging you. They take no responsibility for anything! I have moved 6 times in the last 5 years and have never encountered anything like this! Hire someone else!

  We hired Slater Atlas Albuquerque to move our mother into an assisted living apartment. I had set the date with Slater to do the move and had to change the date at the last minute. I called John and he was just great and rescheduled our move. The day of the move two men (Joseph and Jeremy) showed up exactly on time, they were very professional. They were very polite and both introduced themselves. They wasted no time in reviewing what had to be moved. They laid down carpet runners and padded the doorways so as not to do any damage.   Slater moved furniture and boxes from ABQ to Tatum NM for us. Ben, the general manager, gave me an estimate after reviewing what items were to be moved. The movers (Rubel, Joseph and Ray) took such good care of preparing the load, including but not limited to three cabinets/bookcases with glass doors and shelves, for transport. The load arrived in Tatum with no damage to any of the furniture. The movers put all the shelves back in the cabinets upon arrival in Tatum.
