  What an awesome experience with the JELadd Moving crew earlier today. We chose to move our household items into temporary storage (on our driveway) while the house is being renovated. The crew of 4 arrived early, assessed the move and dug into work. They did a remarkable job -- and performed magic on getting everything into the storage container. This moving experience with JELadd has exceeded my expectations -- from the initial meeting with JE a couple of months ago to today when the crew arrived to take care of our move. I highly recommend them!!

  I have moved many times, often complicated moves involving large homes, family of 5, several pets and cars, including cross-country moves. It can be challenging and involves lots of organization. After many years of moving with a variety of moving companies, I moved recently using a company that exceeded my highest expectations. The estimate was reasonable and detailed, the crew was large enough for the move, each crew member was capable and courteous, and most importantly, J Ladd Movers knew what they were doing at every step of the process.   Jay and the team from J.E. Ladd helped us with our move across town and they were incredible. From the moment we began our estimate to the end of the move in day, everyone was so thoughtful and mindful of our possessions and moving them. They were incredibly careful, quick, and went above and beyond in the move. The service they provided my wife and me in the move was nothing less than amazing. We had such peace of mind throughout the entire process! If I could give 6 stars, I would.

  Just completed a local move with JE Ladd and have only great things to say about this company and their people. Careful, thorough, good-natured, helpful and GREAT at what they do. Anyone who moves knows how traumatic the moving experience is in general - working with JE Ladd removed a lot of the trauma due to their can-do attitude and their extensive knowledge of moving. Due to this knowledge, they don't waste time or effort, resulting in a price that really reflects their value. Jay, Rodney and their crew are exceptional and I would use them in a minute for another move.

  Had a fantastic experience with Jay. He and his movers were very professional and efficient. They took great care of our furniture and were able to work with a less-than-ideal loading situation at the building we were moving out of. This was by far the best moving experience I’ve had and would absolutely recommend them without any reservations to someone in the Durham area.
