We rented a truck from u-Haul in downtown Winston to use to take all of our supplies for our Annual Hispanic League FIESTA. It’s conveniently located in the heart of the city with easy access to local roads and parkways. We got a truck with a ramp to make loading and unloading easy. Everything fit perfectly and made it that much easier for us. The drop off was simple. We just pulled in and handed the keys over to an employee. Literally took 20 seconds! We are pleased and there location also sells all necessary moving supplies if needed.

I am happy to report that my family and I had a great experience with this location! The process was seamless going to pick the truck and tools up and the process was even easier to return the truck! Daquan M was amazing and answered all of the questions my husband and I had. We felt like we knew exactly what to do and what to get. Despite how daunting and bittersweet moving can be I have no complaints about renting a truck at this location. We even were able to pay with a debit card and just had to have a minor hold. I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience. I made a confirmed reservation and was not informed at any point during booking that there was an outstanding balance or E-Alert associated with my account. If that had been communicated upfront, I would have resolved it immediately. Instead, I was told at the pickup location — while on a time-sensitive moving schedule — that I needed to call customer service. Our van was not safe to drive off the lot. The tires were so low, when we alerted the staff to this, they moved in slow motion to find the pump, which they couldn't find. They came over to us to tell us to take it to Sheets, as if it was our fault THEIR VEHICLE was not drivable. We went inside to see if there was another van we could use. The staff member was unbelievably rude. I worked as a waitress and bartender for 5+ years, I am never ever rude. My experience at this U-Haul location was completely disappointing. When I arrived, nobody told me where to pick up the dolly. Later, the supervisor Nicole claimed she had told me, but I never recalled her saying that — and I was left wasting time trying to figure it out on my own. To make matters worse, the truck I rented started on E (empty) with no gas, so before I could even start my move, I had to drive extra miles just to fill it up.
