First thing is they actually called me and talked to me to set an appraisal. Other companies only responded via text or email, if at all. Second, the appraisal by Josh was thorough. He walked the house taking notes and gave good advise on which items required more care. He explained the process and the cost in an easy to understand way. I got a good impression that he was experienced in this line of work. Other companies did the walk through in less than 10 minutes and left a lot to be desired. I had such a great experience with Dow Moving. I had a last minute move and they managed to get a team together on a Sunday! They don’t work Sunday’s so it was so very nice that they accommodated me on such short notice. The two young men that moved me that day were very polite and hard working. I would highly recommend this company!

A relative hired Dow for transferring her furnishings from storage to a new residence, on 3/16/2026. The crew of 3 were awesome teammates and they were well-outfitted for our local move. They made quick work of loading and unloading, while moving around some heavy and bulky furniture. They were all very experienced, efficient, and kind, and I would definitely recommend them! The prior resident also used Dow on their move-out!

Dow Moving provided excellent service for our cross-town move. The crew was professional, personable, hardworking, and incredibly efficient from start to finish. They handled everything with care and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. I truly appreciated their positive attitude and attention to detail. I moved a week and a half ago and the folks at Dow Moving, made the experience very positive! It was very easy to schedule with them, even though I booked less than a week out. And the cost was less than other moving companies. They did a great job of estimating weight, they were spot on. The moving crew arrived on schedule and were very professional, thorough, very experienced and quick. They took great care of all of my furniture and boxes/crates. I highly recommend them and I’ll definitely call Dow if I ever need moving services again!
