I had a confirmed reservation for a U-Haul truck and trailer and arrived expecting a straightforward pickup. Instead, I was told that because I do not have a mortgage or lease, I could not rent the equipment. When I contacted customer service to resolve the issue, I was informed that a larger deposit would have been acceptable all along. The most frustrating part is that while I was on the phone trying to sort out the conflicting information, the location gave away my reserved truck and trailer to another customer. I was only trying to comply with their requirements and clarify what documenta…

Got a truck that air went out. And of course it was during our hottest week so far. I had a 3 hour drive to Michigan and 3 hours back. No shirt and windows down the whole ride which obviously is going to negatively impact gas milage(ontop of being so hot I was dripping with sweat) I called each number they gave me 3 times a piece and got no where. Upon arrival I told them the air was broke and I had to deal with it for 6+ hours. Do you think I got money off? No that would make too much sense. Do you think I got an apology? No that would also be too much.

I have rented uhauls from all over cleveland and this is the worst one. They are looking for a reason to stick you with an extra fee. They only get business in the first place because dispatch reroutes rentals here when your rental is unavailable elsewhere. I will be refusing to use this location from now on. Thank you brookpark uhaul for convincing me to buy my own trailer. Never coming back! Enjoy the $50 fee you just cost uhaul $700 a year for the rest of my life!

They are rude and over charge you. They changed my move to a “in town “ move which causes me to pay double the mileage and at 1.10 a mile it’s going to add up for no reason then it went to it will charge me double. My original one was pick up one way not a in town. How do you consider 25+ miles away a in town move. And then I extend my reservation only to find out it only extended the truck not the whole reservation which makes absolutely no sense why wouldn’t it consider it for everything I rented. One guy from the Cleveland office was completely rude and inconsiderate. Definitely will go wit…
