We have moved 18 times, three times with North American (NAVL)—and have never filed a claim for moving damages—but it is now 12 months since we filed a claim with NAVL and we have not yet settled our claim. Why? Because the adjuster mailed a check for 1/2 our claim (without explanation) six months ago and now ignores every email and voice message requesting the full replacement value of our destroyed property. Everything was smooth with setting up dates and all of the logistics. The 1 star review comes from two things. First, communication with boxing day was poor. They messed up the day and time, and was frustrated with us for not being there when they arrived… a day early. Secondly, and the main reason, one of their packers stole all the cash from my child’s piggy bank (it was a fairly good sum). They wanted us to fill out a police report, but we didn’t know how much was in there or really wanted to deal with A-1 anymore than we had to. Filling out a police report seemed like an easy out for them…

This company has been incredible from the moment we were assigned them as a moving company (military move) to the last box packed up. The office staff and coordinators were so easy to work with and made things very simple and organized. They fit it around our schedule perfectly. The packing staff were kind and efficient. We had two days scheduled to be packed and didn’t need the second day. The driver Jesus and movers were quick but careful with our belongings. I was more than satisfied with every step of this process. Thank you for making this one of the easiest moves we’ve ever had!

We're having this firm move us from Tulsa to Dallas, and I'll submit 3 reviews: Phase 1 is the packing, Phase 2 is loading everything and moving it to Dallas, and Phase 3 is unloading everything in Dallas. Phase 1: For 2 days A-1 Freeman's staff of capable packers packed everything very efficiently and carefully. We were impressed with their care and attention to detail, especially in wrapping our fragile items. These ladies packed everything very nicely, and to maintain accountability they initialed each box as they sealed it. We could never have done all this ourselves as well as this…
