Update: I’ve reached out to Corvallis management and they’ve taken some responsibility for the issue. I can appreciate a company and its people trying to meet their customers where they’re at. The movers had a mishap. A large TV about the 1/4 of the price of move was damaged beyond repair. This event happened even before the TV was loaded into the truck. Default coverage policy is based purely on weight ( ~ $100 ). The original quote for the move was $4000 and the TV around $1200. All in then: $5000. I reached out to Cal's on short notice to move a bedroom set purchased off FB Marketplace. Other movers quoted $1,500 - $2,900 for a simple move (way more than the furniture!). Cal's bid was excellent, and they ended up coming in under the bid after the move was complete. They were able to arrange the move within 2 days of initial contact. I had an awesome experience working with Cal’s moving & storage! I had Miguel’s team and they were fast, strong and had great communication. They also were pretty gentle with fragile items and did a good job at de-assembling + re-assembling furniture and packing a lot of my other stuff. Overall, I would use this service again if I needed to move again. I also appreciate the complimentary service of picking up our boxes after our move! That was a big plus!

First off, Morgan and Jake were great setting up the packing and move. They were helpful, professional and friendly. They answered all of my questions, and provided a reasonable, realistic estimate for the service. Then, this crew: Miguel, Takota, Omar, Austin, Will, and Victor, were amazing. They made quick work of finishing the rest of the packing and loading everything, including lots of heavy concrete pieces. Four guys: Miguel, Trace, Blue, and Omar, did an amazing amount of work in a pretty short time. They were also friendly, efficient, responsive, and easy to work with. They worked well together and with us. We could not have asked for a better moving experience. Thanks for all your help.
