This is not unique to this location, but U-Haul storage as a whole. Do not rent from this company. The frequency that they raise monthly rates for long-term permanent storage renters is shady. It’s one thing to raise it $5 once a year in Jan, but for the last 3 years, you have started moving that timeline up into the same calendar. Now this year, you not only raise it by $10 instead of $5 but 3 months before the year is up! That makes for a $15 increase in 9 months! And sometimes with less than 2 weeks notice. This place wakes up and wings it every day. An incredibly terrible experience renting a van here. They push the app on you, and then the reservations do not get there in time. They created a new reservation with the incorrect phone number and wrong dates. Rush us out of the store because they want to close, only to find that the door on the side does not open. Another 45 minutes on their customer service line to fix their errors.

Overall this U-Haul Storage Center is in good shape and has decent lighting and it was easy to rent the truck and return it. I had no problems with any of that. Where the problem came in was that I had gone online picked out the unit they had available that I wanted for $119.95 and paid for it online and let them know when I would be moving in and signed a contract online. When I got there with the truck full of stuff and went in to get access to my storage unit they said the price was $129.95 even though I had the email stating that it would be $119.95. Apparently they had raised the price $1…
