We moved from SC to TX, and we used Jordan River Moving & Storage. We couldn’t be happier! This company is THE BEST! You will be dealing with a carrier, no brokers. From my interaction with the people in the office to the crew, everybody was very professional. It is not cheap, but prices are affordable. The crew that loaded and unloaded our stuff in the truck were very professional, respectful in their demeanor and treated our belongings with respect and care. I cannot emphasize enough how happy I am with this company! They have helped me with three moves. The ease and trust I have for these guys (and Danielle in the office) is unsurpassable!! The last move I did with them has an amazing story…. There was a class ring of my sons that was lost years before. One of the guys found it literally in the corner of the room, hidden by carpet. They just came to my house today and packed and loaded a 3 bedroom house with outdoor furniture. My family and I have moved cross country several times and this was the first movers to EVER pack and load the same day. They work fast, carefully, and efficiently. Seemed professional in initial contact, except they would not provide an estimated time, saying someone would call the day before and arrange a time. Nope, they just called and left a message at 0730 to say they were on the way! I tried calling the number of the person that just called and no answer and voice mail not set up.
