Long distance move from NC to MN. I was so anxious about choosing a mover with all of the horror stories I saw online and advice on what to do/not to do. Professional experience throughout. Estimate was thorough and there was good communication on load date and delivery dates. The moving team on both ends was awesome and super careful with our things. Price was the lowest and it cost exactly as estimated. This has been a really good experience with Allied and Cary movers.

I recently had Allied Van Lines move me across country. My furniture was supposed to arrive between June 30 and July 9 but I did not end up receiving it until July 31. They compensated me by giving me $100 a day for an inconvenience fee. But this inconvenience fee only applied to 6 out of 7 days of the week. Even though I was inconvenienced all 7 days of the week. Please do not waste your time and money trusting Allied to deliver your stuff within the agreed-upon timeframe because there’s a good chance that it won’t happen. I highly recommend that you look elsewhere for a moving company.

This was the most expensive and worst moving experience we have had. To begin with, there was ample room in front of our home for a semi to fit and pack our belongings as this is how they were delivered intially when we moved. The company decided that “there wasn’t enough room” and charged us an extra $1,000 for a shuttle truck to move our things. Our belongings were picked up on a Thursday and sat in the same place for over 7 days before they began moving.
