Tru Solutions Utah Moving Company, based in Sandy, Utah, operates from its office at 75 Fort Union Blvd Ste 131 in Midvale. Specializing in a range of services including moving, storage, and shipping, the company offers 24-hour availability throughout the week, making it convenient for customers with varying schedules. Despite its comprehensive range of services, Tru Solutions Utah Moving Company has a mixed reputation, with a Google rating of 4 out of 5 based on 539 reviews. The company does not have a match in the FMCSA database, indicating that it may not be registered for interstate transportation, focusing instead on local and possibly intrastate moves.
Customer reviews highlight some challenges with the company, particularly regarding transparency in pricing and reliability of service. Customers like Monica Packer and Brady Knowles have reported significant discrepancies between quoted and final prices, as well as issues with property damage during moves. Additionally, Thomas Ware's experience with no-shows and lack of communication suggests potential operational challenges. For those considering Tru Solutions, it's advisable to carefully compare estimates and confirm service specifics in writing, ensuring clarity on all charges and scheduling commitments before proceeding. This due diligence is crucial given the absence of FMCSA registration, which typically provides additional regulatory oversight and consumer protection for interstate moves.

If you want to surprise-pay almost double what they originally say it'll cost, get your walls significantly damaged and then catch them in attempting to cover it up, get lied to by the owner/head mover (hi Larry!), your tip made fun of, promised reparations ("A handyman will come! We'll refund your measly tip!"), and then NOTHING happen, your calls rejected, your texts un-answered, and your emails bounced back, then this is the moving company for you. No job is too small and no job is too big to be scammed by Larry and his crew. Believe the bad reviews. This business is SHADY. Look them up on…

I prepaid for 2 movers. 1 hour after the scheduled time I had to call them and they said one of the movers wasn't answering his phone. Waited an additional 4 hours and they never called me back and never showed up. When I called, they said I would be given a refund. It's been weeks and I'm still waiting. Now of course they don't respond to my calls or texts. I'd give them ZERO stars if I could.

After being quoted a specific amount for my move (including having their estimators come to my house for an hour to verify the quantity of belongings), the final price ended up being more than double than the original quote. My original quote was around $3000, and my final payout was over $8000. On top of that, their employees seriously damaged my stairs and broke multiple pieces of furniture. Those employees were fired supposedly, but not removed from the job site as one of them was living in the moving truck and had nowhere else to go. The entire time they were moving slowly and taking the…

So the move went decent but now I have one of the movers texting me telling me that Larry and Tyler aren’t paying him. They told me after the move their system was down for payments and I needed to pay through cash app, which flagged as fraud on my end on cash app. I ended up managing to pay them through PayPal but I guess they don’t pay their employees…

My wife and I hired Tru Solutions to move into our next home. On the day of the move, the truck arrived about 1.5 hours late ( can't fault them though, they miss placed the keys). They then moved all of our stuff. They got lost for what seems 30 minutes on the drive to the house(these guys charge by the minute). Once we got to the new house some items went downstairs into the basement, some upstairs. They nailed our stairs at two spots, scratched our dining room table, and severely scratch a dresser. We noticed the damage on the stairs, they apologized and said they have a damages department t…
