He does, in fact, have a boss At least if you’re contracting an out of state move. To say this was one of the most violating experiences of my life isn’t an understatement. We only contracted them for a local move and storage. When we shopped around, because their interstate quote was high, they became aggressive. They started charging retaliatory fees, refusing to release our things, amid constant harassment. This was only resolved after contacting the attorney general and the CEO of their interstate partner company on the advice of counsel. I’d like to mention I have proof of every interact…

Ron Fontaine and Kristie Wildes are exceptional moving experts. I had a hard challenge to move items across country out of a 3600 sf property. Included a grand piano, lots of art, lots of large furniture including two bedroom sets and a full office, mirrors and glass, delicate sculptures (for which Ron personally built custom packing boxes and all arrived perfectly.). These guys have extraordinary integrity and go the extra mile. They partner with very high quality folks.

Don't walk, run away. Got an estimate for a move and hired Chase. Final bill came and it was 42% higher than the estimate. In the estimate the travel time was listed at a certain rate, when the final bill came the travel time was charged 70% greater than the estimate. Like many other reviews about incorrect billing, I won't use them ever again.

Our experience with Chase has been horrendous. We used them for an out of state move and several of our boxes with clothes and towels were full of mice droppings and many items were eaten through by mice and full of mice nests. In addition, boxes with very valuable items such as expensive clothes and kitchen equipment were missing. We have been trying to communicate with the owner but he has not responded to any emails, phone calls or even the VT attorney general’s office’s request to address our damage claim. Will never recommend them. Both their moving and storage services are unprofessional…

Chase Moving was terrific to work with for my local move. Kevin and Ron accommodated my schedule and and were extremely careful and thorough with all of my belongings. I would highly recommend them.
