Couldn't recommend Action Moving Colchester more highly. Derek came personally to our home to give us a quote and made us feel reassured. Their pricing was very fair compared to other companies. The guys who moved us - JIMMY, JEREMY and BRUCE couldn't have been nicer. They knew exactly what to do and boy were they FAST workers. They took great care with all our stuff making sure it wasn't damaged. They protected stairwells with blankets and were careful not to ding any walls. They were so helpful and easy to work with. We had a challenging hot tub installation and it was amazing to watch them maneuver the hot tub under trees and through two gates. They took their time and cared about my concerns. Very professional. Would happily use again.

5 star service from start to finish!! I hired Action Moving to clear out one apartment and keep my items overnight before moving into a new space. Jeremy, Chris, and Jimmy did a great job on both days. They were punctual, friendly, professional, and they made the move very easy. There was clear communication from the main office and the price was reasonable. I will definitely hires these folks again for my next move.

We had used Action Moving in 2018 to move the contents of our house to a new home 30 miles away. We had a positive experience, so in the fall of 2025 we decided to use them again to move the contents of our house to a new home. This time we required that they store our contents for 4 months until our new home was finished. Frustratingly the quality of their workmanship has significantly dropped since our first engagement. During the course of moving and storage and the subsequent moving out of storage we had 3 pieces of furniture that had one or more legs broken off and could not be repaired…

Jim and Bob from action moving delivered our new hot tub and were absolutely wonderful! Little did they know it would be a TIGHT fit to get it on the porch. They were extremely careful and made sure nothing got damaged. Very professional and kind. I highly recommend Action Moving for all of your moving needs!
