I hired Academy Movers for my move after receiving a positive recommendation about them. Now I am happy to report they exceeded my expectations! They were so professional and respectful as well as being so organized and efficient. They shrink wrapped necessary items and loaded those trucks so precisely that it was amazing. At my new place Alex, Eli, Cameron and John efficiently unloaded those trucks and placed all my furniture, boxes and bags in the rooms that I specified. Had to break my apartment lease to relocate for work. I was dreading moving- it’s always such a pain… but this was easily the smoothest move I’ve ever experienced! The JVA moving crew were meticulous in packing our belongings- it was dumping rain and they wrapped just about everything we owned to ensure it did not get wet; we didn’t even have to ask, they just did their thing! These were the best movers I’ve ever experienced! So respectful and kind. They literally RAN the whole time with big boxes. They helped us rebuild and set up the furniture at our new place and by the time they left we felt like we could actually live in our new house and we were ready for bed that night. Not only that but we moved the Friday before Easter weekend and on Saturday I went into the storage room to attempt to find the Easter eggs. What a day. What a great day! Tyler, Scott, Cale, Tom and Julian did flawless work as they moved us to a new home and a new adventure on Alki.
