  I wish I had researched the google reviews earlier. We used this company to move us from a condo to a house that was literally 5 minutes away. I received quotes from 3 companies and all offered a similar offering- we knew someone who used these guys so we went with them- what a terrible mistake. There’s so much to say but the main things were: 1) the moving men were very unprofessional and didn’t want to finish the job same day.   I had a wonderful experience working with Father & Son Moving & Storage today. I needed to move my mom from a 1 bdrm independent living apt. to a studio memory care room with a stop at our condo to bring and drop off furniture. Mr. Laby promptly returned my call and was able to squeeze my job in on Sat with only 2 days notice. The 3 men who came to do the job were prompt, polite, and excellent at their jobs.   The crew was great! We had a lot of furniture…and all arrived without damage. The movers were polite, pleasant and took care with our items. The quote was solid-no changes, which was very appreciated/important. As we are in between homes, We will definitely use Father and Son in the very near future for our next move. Defiantly recommend!

  I hired Father & Son less than two weeks before my move. They accommodated my changing schedule with ease and friendliness. They were efficient, clean and quick! I have many mirrored and glass pieces that they wrapped and moved perfectly. It was white glove service at an affordable price. They took an enormously stressful experience and made it organized and wonderful! I wish they could help me with other tasks. :)

  We are very pleased with the way Downtown Moving and Storage handled our move. They called ahead to confirm, and arrived on time. They worked very quickly and efficiently, and were very friendly. I was impressed by their pricing, which was very reasonable. I paid exactly what I was told I'd be paying, period -- no surprises, no extra charges. Our belongings arrived in great shape and they even put our furniture exactly where we wanted it. Nothing was broken or missing, and the movers were very FAST and professional. I would definitely hire them again !
