I needed a very basic piano move. I contacted a handful of other movers and piano stores in the area and Sumo Moving was the only one that gave me a reasonable price. The communication was good, they showed up on time and the job was done in 30 minutes.

These guys did an awesome job for us! They were super careful with my highly valuable items and took extra care to wrap and load them. I won’t use anyone else for my moves from now on! I highly recommend!!

I would absolutely avoid this company at all costs. I had hired them to do a move for a family member. Said family member ended up in ICU in critical condition, so obviously there wasn’t going to be a move when someone is incapacitated in hospital. Was still charged the full amount for the move when nothing was done. Was told there was nothing that could be done and they had to adhere to policy even with imminent death. I could never recommend a business that so easily capitalizes on someone’s death bed. Shameful business practice. Beware.

Robert was amazing! We had a 300 pound double sink vanity that had to go up a flight of stairs into our bathroom. They were great at communicating with me throughout the whole process. On top of getting this done in a timely manner, they were very careful with my floors and walls and vanity. I had no scratches or dents on anything. Great costumer service! I would highly recommend them to anyone!

They are great! I needed packing help ONLY it was a little pricier than some other services BUT well worth it. Unlike some other packing assistance that I looked into they were able to respond quickly. Confirm whether or not they had availability and offered tips to share with my Movers on moving day. However, one of them did crush and completely ruin the lamp shade of a $200 West Elm Lamp. They also advised me NOT to use cardboard to protect a large piece of art which ultimately got RUINED by the moving company (not them).
