I just signed up for a climate control unit today. When I got there, it was quite difficult to find the unit. There are multiple entrances that are not marked, and after going through each I didn’t find my unit. I called and was told it was in a different building. It took a little while to figure out which one and how to get to it. When I did find it, I found that my 10’ x 22’ storage unit only had a standard size door opening to get things in and out which could be a bit of an issue. Update: In less than a year they have raised rates at least two times. Avoid if you plan to rent for more than a couple of months. Onsite manager is nice. But the corporate office out of state within two to three months raises the rental cost by at least 80% for the two largest size units. In decades of renting units I have never experienced this. Corporate office is also very poor in communicating effectively. The person who executes these rate hikes does not respond in a timely nor coherent manner. We used this location for 3 summers. Each 5*5 unit we held was clean and safe, we had absolutely no issues, always found everything as we left it. The local site manager was outstanding. She was a trusty advisor and manager of our rental, always polite and professional, timely in her replies, and willing to go whatever length may have been needed to help us with unit selection, reservation, online set up, and management of the lease, all the way to the closing.
