After discussing my cross-town move needs and the fact that they were mostly booked, I decided to reserve a U-Haul and hire two workers for their 4-hour minimum.   We hired these folks to move our parents from their condo to memory care; the 3 guys did a great job! Things were wrapped appropriately and were acceptable to taking anything we had packed up to go!

  We used A Smooth Move to take some furniture to storage in order to stage our home for sale. The 3 movers who came were polite and professional and took very good care of our things. They wrapped the furniture carefully and even took some things to the dump for us afterward. We would highly recommend them to anyone for their moving needs.

  I paid close to $6,000 to move from Minneapolis area to Rochester. Good things: the movers worked well together and were friendly. They made 2 stops, furniture delivery to new home and donation of items I was not keeping. Concerns: It seemed the person who gave me the quote and the office/movers had not communicated. I had to seek out the boxes that were promised. At quote time I was told many of the items I was not keeping (including furniture, snow blower, electric lawnmower) would go to auction.
