  Cord Moving is wonderful. Cord has the best pricing bar none. The employees are extremely professional and friendly. They took great care in wrapping and packing our furniture. Loading and unloading are done with attention to the furniture not being damaged. They are so good that this is the second time we have used them in three years. I also had the same crew. Now that is happiness with the quality of their work and their continuing commitment to excellence.

  From start to finish this was one of the best experiences I have ever had with a business. The estimator, my trip coordinator, the driver and both the loading and unloading crews were very professional. All my belongings were handled with care and arrived perfectly. There were no surprises or add ons. I hope to never move again but if I do Cord will be my only call. I would highly recommend!

  The other less than stellar posts motivated me to share my experience with Cord Moving and Storage as a cautionary tale. I moved from MO to NJ, using the same company my parents did years ago and my sister only a handful of years prior. I was quoted in MO and signed my agreement with ease. Customer service with Cord Moving and Storage in MO was great and I was excited for the process to move along. In MO, they stored my items waiting for a driver to come to NJ and deliver. In between the time the crew took my things and stored them and delivered them to my new address, many things were damaged…

  By far one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had to deal with. Everything started out great with the initial process. After everything had been packed up from cord I was notified that they would need more money in the tune of $5k otherwise they would not be able to deliver my stuff. When I asked why their exact words were we underbid the job. This was a corporate move and my company had already paid them in full. Mind you we did not go with the cheapest bid.   I have moved cross country now 4x in my life and I’ve done it several ways. I’ve also moved 14 times inside of the cities I was living in, and almost always hired movers. So I’ve met my fair share. This is the second time I’ve used a long haul full service firm and let me just say a. this is the way to go if you’re wanting to use long haul movers. Don’t use a broker. and b. go with Cord North American. I got several quotes, they’re all competitive in terms of pricing, the price by weight so pricing will not be the determining factor, it comes down to who you trust. And they were all fantasti…
