I recently hired Make-a-Move Moving for my relocation, and they were truly THE most professional, pleasant, and efficient team I’ve ever worked with. Vlad was the only person (out of all the companies I contacted) who offered to come to my home to visually assess what needed to be moved. His quote was very fair, landing right in the middle compared to the five companies I considered. Great movers. Very friendly and efficient. They did the whole move in record time and were prepared to handle every hiccup on my part. I couldn’t be happier with their work and will happily recommend them to anyone I know who’s moving in NYC.

We thought the reviews were too good to be true but they are not. We worked with Jacob and his team and they were absolutely fantastic. They went above and beyond in every possible way and we were so impressed with the entire move. We would recommend them to anyone and will be using them again whenever we need to move next.

Moving from a fourth floor apartment on a "Extreme Cold" day is not fun. But Jesus and team made our move as easy as could be. They: 1. Arrived exactly on time 2. Never stopped moving 3. Wrapped up our stuff like mummies 4. Were kind; being around them lowered our moving anxieties. We got off to the right start in our new home because of them. When we inevitably move again, I will not hesitate to reach out again. And I recommend you do too. 5/5.

Like most of the reviews you’ll read, I can’t say enough about Vlad and Make a Move. My new building connected me with them, and from the first call Vlad (owner) called me on his personal cell and walked through every detail, and coordinated a complicated move: pickup, short-term storage while I was between leases, and redelivery to my new place. Both crews were professional, careful, and clearly well-trained. They asked thoughtful questions, packed everything properly, and treated my belongings with real care.
