  It doesn’t get any better than Marathon Moving. We have used them for three residential moves over the years, including the latest in July 2021. Every one has been fast, courteous, professional, and for a very reasonable price. The movers have a great work ethic and are always upbeat. Everything is packed, shipped, and unpacked with care. It’s a company we should be proud to have in North Carolina.

  Have moved most all of my life, several military moves and personal moves. I have NEVER had such care taken with my belongings than with the two guys that showed up today. They packed my furniture as if it were their own. They deserve more than 5 stars.

  My husband and I had purchased a 450lb item for our home. My son and him attempted to bring it up 2 steps and into the home but were not successful. We needed professionals. I called several places, one moving place recommended Marathon Moving Company for our needs. From the start the customer service was EXCELLENT. I was impressed that I was given a appt time 9:30am vs a time frame. This allowed me to plan other activities for afternoon.   This moving company gets the job done in time allowed. I worked with several great people on the phone. I was able to get my quote down by preparing a lot of things myself. The movers are very fast, but they could use some improvement on packing items and labeling boxes. They rushed things on both days of my packing. Studio pieces were not packed properly, and the team rushed out on both days. Overall, I am happy with Marathon Movers. I had another situation that was addressed straight away.   I'm a first time mover and was very nervous to hire someone to move my things, but I'm so glad I did. I had a great experience with Marathon Moving Co. Randall was great to talk to as I planned for the move, and the movers who came - Steven and Maurice - were kind and professional and incredibly efficient. They moved everything out of my one bedroom home in less than two hours, drove an hour and a half to the new location and knocked things out there in about two hours also.
