I had a great experience with Armstrong this week. They handled the New Orleans delivery of my international move. Julius and the team were excellent: they worked hard, efficiently, and took good care of my stuff. Highly recommended.

I had a very disappointing experience with Mayflower Armstrong (Baton Rouge) and their New Orleans partner Crescent City Moving. I paid about $10,000 for a full-service move and expected the professional standards associated with the Mayflower name. Unfortunately, many of the basic standards were not followed. There was no digital inventory and no parts box, and the inventory was handwritten on old United forms that were largely unreadable. Had movers fill their truck from my pod and house in New Orleans. They carefully wrapped everything and worked quickly and then cleaned up after themselves. They delivered everything to my storage unit in Asheville and off loaded as carefully as they had packed it. Friendly, professional drivers and crew! Picture is how they had to back out of the parking lot because of the sharp dip but didn't harm the tree or scrape the ground!

Do not use this company for your move. I have moved many times over the years and the move with Armstrong Mayflower was horrible. They sent one person to pack on packing day. He arrived 4 1/2 hours late. The next day they sent 3 people to pack and load. They arrived late too. The packers/loaders are contractors who complain about everything. They are so unprofessional. I could go on and on about the fiasco of this move. One thing you should know is that your belongings will be shuffled around on and off of different trucks before it arrives at your new location. Because of that, you may…
