  The only issue with our move with Mayflower was us not being fully ready for them when they arrived! The crew was on time, professional, and hard working. The process was explained well and the move out was efficient.

  We moved from Minnesota to Florida this summer. Originally we were going to go it ourselves, box, pack into a rental truck, drive it down, unpack the truck, etc. With COVID we decided finding laborers might be difficult, so we looked to hire someone. We checked around and decided on Mayflower/Metcalf. They were competitively priced, and the name was reputable. We couldn't be happier with our choice.   Very disappointed. The moving staff were professional and came on time. Our move was from Boston, MA to Rochester, MN. We did two virtual visits and the quoted price was 3K (one container). However, the final price ended up being 5K because their assessment of the materials was not accurate and they completely hid the final price. There was no wiggle room on this price. I would recommend using a company that is much more transparent about quotes and will not spring a sudden $2000 charge on you.

  Great, fast, and respectful service. Kaleb and the crew were very professional and worked very hard to get us moved quickly while keeping all of our belongings safe during the trip from one location to the other. Definitely made my move 100% easier and I absolutely recommend Metcalf Moving & Storage to anyone needing moving services!
